Alwar mixes an easy highway run with a genuine wildlife detour, making it a step up from Delhi's other nearby day trips. The town has a crumbling but photogenic Bala Quila hilltop fort with sweeping valley views, plus the ornate City Palace and the adjacent Moosi Maharani Chhatri, a marble cenotaph on a small lake. The real draw for most riders is Sariska Tiger Reserve, roughly 35km further, where forest tracks wind through dry deciduous jungle and rocky hills — tiger sightings are possible but not guaranteed, and the reserve requires a permitted safari vehicle rather than riding your own bike inside. Siliserh Lake Palace, a converted hunting lodge on a scenic reservoir, makes a good lunch stop en route. Roads are decent highway with a final rural stretch; plan an early start if you want a shot at a Sariska safari slot.
